The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Canary Government investment will double the improvement Paseo de las Cucharas in Costa Teguise (Lanzarote), in a project that will not be limited to changing pavement.
Lookouts, urban picnic areas, children’s playgrounds and sports channels are some of the equipment to be included in the new proposal.
Performances like this not only improve the service given to visitors, but also benefit the residents themselves and the rest of the island, that will enjoy the new features on this promenade.
The new project aims to strengthen and coordinate commercial, sports and traffic uses of this Paseo de las Cucharas conceived not only as a space for walking, but also to enjoy.
It will condition spaces to enjoy the sea view, both on the sun and the shade. In addition, public spaces will be established to celebrate outdoor cultural events such as concerts.
Attending to the diversity of users sharing the Paseo de Las Cucharas, children’s areas include, sports and BioHealth circuits. Also, the transverse connections between Avenue, the beach and the commercial area will be strengthened.
